The following checks i understand....
After you go through the barriers with 1 million cameras watching you, you pass the security with yet again 1 million cameras watching you, you then have to pass police control, both English and French with yet another million cameras watching you, then at the train platform you have 1 million cameras watching you board the train with security standing by the fence so not even a mouse could jump on the train without paying.
This check is just pure harassment.....
You find your seat then 1 hour later some little disgruntled eurostar employee asks to see your ticket and passport!? seriously!? if someone can get past all those security checks they deserve to ride for free anyway!
it would probably be easier to sneak in to have lunch with Obama! jeeez.......
