If you are on the Eurostar and you have not prepared a meal for your journey (economy seating) then be prepared to mortgage your house to buy a meal. The prices are beyond criminal, they make luxury restaurants in Harrods and the Dorchester hotel in London seem like McDonalds when it comes to pricing.
The quality is no doubt lower than McDonalds but the prices are through the roof! They will be more than happy to charge you £7 for a sandwich and very odd mini sized drink.(never seen drinks so small in my life anywhere). But thats if your lucky, most of the time they ALWAYS out of stock of the food they try and rip you off with. No surprise Eurostar does not currently post their menu on their website. bring your own food, you have been warned!
