Cheap deals?

Every time I go to Eurostars website I see deals, return for 49 euro bla bla bla. I have never in my life had such a deal, they dont exist! and if they do its subject to so many terms and conditions that its almost as if they are targeting a mr blob from no name street. Because he is the only one that travels after 9pm on a sunday. They should have for example 2 months of deal prices that would make sense. Not stupid deals they have at the moment which after you go to checkout turns out to be 3 or 5 times more expensive! Eurostar to expensive for 20 year old trains with 20 year old technology.
